Cake smash sessions are such a fun and joyful way to celebrate your little one turning one — and honestly, they really are as magical as they look.

All sessions take place in my beautifully styled home studio just outside Ashford, where everything has been carefully designed with little ones in mind. From the bespoke setup to the warm bubbly splash bath at the end, the studio offers a calm, cosy, and child-friendly space where your baby can explore, play, and make the most wonderful mess.

What’s included in your cake smash session

Every cake smash experience is fully personalised and includes:

A beautifully styled setup tailored to your chosen colours or theme
A mini portrait session before the cake is introduced
The cake smash session itself
A fun splash session in a tub of warm water and bubbles to finish (which also helps with the clean-up — bonus!)
A professionally made cake created to match your chosen theme by the lovely Natasha at Flossy’s Fussy Bakes
All fully edited digital images (minimum of 30), delivered via a secure online gallery

Your final gallery includes both high-resolution images for printing and web-sized files perfect for sharing online and on social media — giving you the freedom to download, print, and enjoy your photographs however you wish.

Cake smash sessions are designed for the birthday baby only, as each setup is carefully styled for one child. However, if you’d like to capture some family photos to celebrate this special milestone too, you can upgrade your session for an additional £99. Family portraits take place at the beginning of the session — before the sticky fingers arrive!

A little more information

Sessions typically last around one hour, although every child is different. Some little ones need a little extra time to settle into their surroundings, while others are ready to dive straight into the fun.

I never rush sessions and always work at your child’s pace, allowing plenty of time for them to feel comfortable, relaxed, and happy before we begin.
