Newborn Photography
If you’re reading this, I will assume congratulations is in order!
I am fully trained in newborn photography and safety, and as a mummy myself, am very aware how special these bubbas are.
My newborn sessions are conducted in the comfort of your own home (I cover anywhere within 45 minutes travel time of Ashford, Kent) and I am with you for 2-3 hours (which will fly by in the blink of en eye). It's all very relaxed, with plenty of time for feeds, nappy changes and chats. I will create you a beautiful gallery with a good mix of posed and lifestyle newborn photography for you, by using props, a posing table and then plenty of natural photographs of the real moments between you and your baby, on the sofa, and around the house if you're wanting to, but don't worry, I know there was no way I had everything together enough to have my house photo ready, especially in those first few weeks, so just some space in your living room is all I need.
I bring everything we need for the shoot, including the lighting, all the newborn wraps and props and even the flooring you'll see in my posed shots. Its a lovely time for you to finally sit back, knowing your baby is in very experienced and caring hands, grab that 'now very rare' hot cup of tea and just watch me work with your baby to create some beautiful images that you'll cherish forever.
My diary is constantly fully booked months in advance, and I only conduct 3 sessions per week so do get in touch just after your 20-week scan in order to guarantee your spot in my diary. I only book a limited number of newborn sessions per month so that I can be as flexible as possible with my availability for you once they arrive. As we know, estimated due dates, really are just an estimate and these babies are on their own schedule, but it allows me to work the diary well, allowing for plenty of flexibility.
How long does a Newborn Photography session take?
On average, my newer sessions take 2-3 hours, which gives us plenty of time to feed, settle, pose, photograph and chat all about your new baby!
I also allow time within this for sibling and family photos as well as the mix of posed and lifestyle photography.
How old should my baby be for the photoshoot?
Ideally these type of sessions are conducted when your baby is between 5 and 14 days old for those real sleepy, fresh newborn images, but i'm very aware that life and obstacles can pop up with newborn babies, so this isn't a set rule, whatever their age, I can still guarantee a gorgeous final gallery for you.
How do I book?
If you would like to secure your newborn photoshoot with me, then do get in touch. I can check my availability for you around your due date, I ask for the £99 session fee at this point and your booking is then secured (please note no products or images are included in this price, it only includes my time, the editing and full use of props). As we know babies can be very unpredictable about their arrival dates, but when they do arrive just let me know and we can then schedule in your photoshoot date itself.
I offer a wide range of colours and set ups and always ask you as a client for your preferred style or colour theme prior to your session. I am also happy to include personal items you may have or a particular set design, I love a creative challenge!

PRICING AND PACKAGE OPTIONS
After your photography session, I go away and edit each image by hand, and around 2 weeks later, you will receive an online gallery of your final images, they will of course be watermarked but you will then be able to decide which package you would like to purchase- knowing exactly what is on offer. Once full payment is made I will then remove the watermark from your chosen images and you will be able to download them in both high res format as well as social media for you to then use and print as you wish!
Booking is confirmed once I receive your £99 session fee, this includes my time and skill on the day, the editing and use of my collection of props. It does not include any products or images, you can then choose a collection as set out below which best suits you.
Your package does not need to be chosen until you seen your final gallery.
