Welcoming a new baby is one of the most special and fleeting moments in life. My newborn photography sessions are designed to capture those tiny details, gentle connections, and early days in a calm, unhurried way — creating timeless images you’ll treasure forever.
Newborn sessions take place in my home studio in Ashford, Kent, which has been carefully created with comfort, warmth, and safety in mind for both babies and parents.

Everything you need for your session is provided — you can simply arrive, relax, and enjoy watching your baby being photographed.
I have years of experience in photographing babies and families and being a mother myself, I know just how fast that newborn stage passes and how quickly they change, so preserve those memories and book your newborn photography session with me!
When should I book?
recommend booking your newborn session shortly after your 20-week scan to ensure availability. I limit the number of newborn sessions I take on each month and photograph a maximum of three sessions per week, allowing me to offer the flexibility needed once your baby arrives.
As due dates are only an estimate and babies arrive in their own time, booking during pregnancy allows me to plan my diary carefully and adjust your session date as needed — ensuring a relaxed and stress-free experience for you.
Do you come to me?
Newborn sessions are primarily held in my purpose-built home studio just outside Ashford, Kent, which has been carefully designed to provide a calm, warm, and comfortable environment for both you and your baby.
For families who would prefer their session to take place in the comfort of their own home, in-home newborn sessions are available as a convenience upgrade. These sessions include additional time for travel, setup, and working within a home environment, while maintaining the same gentle, baby-led approach throughout.
Availability for in-home sessions is limited.

Please note that I cover most of Kent, with travel limited to 45 minutes from Ashford.
How old should my baby be for the photoshoot?
Newborn sessions are ideally held when your baby is between 5–14 days old, when they are typically sleepier and easier to gently pose for those classic newborn images.
That said, I understand that life with a newborn doesn’t always go to plan. If your baby is older, beautiful images can still be created, and I will tailor the session to suit your baby’s age and needs — ensuring a gorgeous final gallery regardless.
How long does a Newborn Photography session take?
Newborn sessions typically last between 1–3 hours. Sessions are completely baby-led, with plenty of time allowed for feeding, settling, cuddles, and breaks whenever needed. There’s no rush — you’re encouraged to relax, enjoy the experience, and take it all in.
Investment
A session fee of £99 is payable at the time of booking and secures your session. This covers the photography experience on the day and the professional editing of your images.
Approximately two weeks after your session, you will receive a secure online gallery to view your fully edited, watermarked images. From there, you can choose the image collection or package that best suits you.

How do I book?
These first days pass so quickly — newborn photography allows you to hold onto them just a little longer. If you would like to secure your newborn photoshoot with me, then do get in touch. I can check my availability for you around your due date and I ask for the £99 session fee at this point and your booking is then secured.
