So with that, please use this form to tell me as much about your day as you can.

Every wedding is completely unique so hopefully you can use this to let me know where people will be, and when, and what is happening on your special day! The more I know about the day in advance the better!

Group photos

It would be really helpful to have a dedicated person who knows who everyone is at the wedding, to help me gather them up as needed. This is a great role to assign to someone who is loud and helpful (usually great for the Ushers or bridesmaids)

I find having a max of 6-8 group shots in total work really well as it takes some time to gather everyone and can interrupt the schedule of your day, however having these photos are really important, especially for the family photos so do try to add time into yout timeline for these. Each group shot usually takes 2-3 minutes to do.

Which photos are most important to you? * This helps me get an understanding on what types of photos to prioritise for you

I never underestimate how much of a privilidge it is to be photographing your wedding and every single one I do, gets my whole heart. I will be as unobstrusive as possible but also that friendly face in the background should you need anyting extra. I'll take the lead when needed and you'll see me mixing in with your guests throughout the day, that really helps them feel comfortable around me and therefore allows me to capture those real authentic moments.

Here are a few little suggestions that from experience, I find helps the day go nice and smoothly:

  • Allow alot more time for your hair and makeup than you originally anticipated on the big day and plan to be in your dress and ready even earlier than you planned, you will have your registrar interviews at this time too which always takes longer than you think. Planning extra time into this part of the day will keep everything nice and calm and therefore more enjoyable and also allow us to grab some bride and bridesmaids photos before we head down to the ceremony.

  • Don’t rush your first kiss! At least 5 seconds of kissing should be enough to make sure that myself and any videographers have a chance to capture the moment properly! A cheeky second kiss as you walk back down the aisle afterwards is always fab too!

  • I'd love to steal you both away for about 20 minutes for your couple portraits in the evening, dont worry its all very relaxed and I promise to make it fun. As these photos are likely to be the most romantic of the day, its ideal to do this around golden hour (which of course varies depending on the time of year) but is that hour before the sun sets. I can of course give you some advice on this and fitting in into your schedule.

  • And the top tip has to be... just be you! Be natural, have fun, smile all day and dont worry about looking at the camera! Its those natural ones that are always the best!

I usually take some 'behind the scene' clips throughout the day, are you happy I do so (and of course send to you afterwards as well as post on social media?

Are you happy for me to use and post your images online and share with your suppliers after the wedding? (and only once you have had chance to show all of your family and friends first of course)

I am always extremely grateful when my couple allow me to do as it is of course where the majority of mine and your other suppliers business comes from in the first place so being able to show our recent work helps us so much. However, it is absolutely no problem whatsoever if you rather we didnt, this is your wedding and I am there to do a job for you.
