A branding shoot for Cakes by Petula

This lady... and this session brought me so much life!!

Cakes by Petula is absolutely one to look out for! She is an incredibly talented baker and to be quite honest... artist!

The cakes she creates are out of this world and I was so excited when she approached me to do a branding shoot! Having seen (and tasted) her work previously with cake smashes and precious clients I knew I couldn’t say no! Branding photography isn’t something I’ve done a great deal of you until this point but I absolutely loved it!!

She’s my kind of girl- we instantly clicked and what should have been an hours session, turned into the majority of a day AND she sent me away with the most amazing cake I had just photographed her making at every stage of the process!

Her take on a Bridgerton themed cake was beautiful! I also loved that I could give her some tips on taking her own photos of her work and for ‘the gram’ moving forward!
