A salon branding shoot for Kays Beauty Studio at Bagham Barn

A little piece of heaven at @kaysbeautystudio

I think a lot of us have had to diversify during this crazy year and I have actually loved exploring a bit of commercial photography (one thing as a self employed photographer we were allowed to do during the most recent lockdown) so of course I was going to be doing a shoot for my girl @kaysbeautystudio for her new salon, based in Chilham, just on the outskirts of Canterbury.

I met Kay when she first started her business a couple of years ago and honestly every single nail appointment we had was filled with so much business chat and excitement between us both- we soon became pals and we were full of ideas and encouragement for each other! She has now moved her salon to a much bigger space at the most gorgeous countryside barn setting at Bagham Barn and you would honestly think an interior designer had created it- it’s simply gorgeous!

I also cannot wait to photograph her wedding later this year at the gorgeous @haynehouseweddingvenuekent

If you’re Canterbury/ Ashford based and are in need of a beautician (the list of services she offers alongside her team is huge) absolutely check her out!

Summertime mini sessions

Reminiscing about those golden summer evenings spent wandering the meadow at @the_house_meadow 🌾 Barefoot moments, little giggles, and families just being them. Nothing forced. Nothing overly posed.
