Anyone else feel like their life is postponed at the mo? And I can't be the only person that is actually missing working!
Lockdown is having many effects on all of us, and of course we know it is all 'for the greater good' (Hot Fuzz instantly springs to mind) but its not all bad- this time is making us all re-evaluate how we spend our time and how important our loved ones are to us.
I am of course having to postpone this years Bluebells sessions which were due to go ahead this weekend. Ive been out walking in the woods and they seem even more beautiful as usual- annoyingly!
For those of you booked in to the Bluebell sessions, my plan is that as soon as lockdown is lifted, we will reschedule them for as soon as possible and choose a location that is just as gorgeous and honour the mini session packages. For my newborns I have booked in during this time, please do let me know as usual once your baby arrives and I will then either offer to return your booking fee or we can reschedule again for once the lockdown has ended and I promise to still be able to capture some beautiful images of your new arrival as soon as we are allowed. I am doing my absolute best to accommodate the change of dates for as many of this years wedding clients as I can and have contacted all wedding clients up until the end of July so far, the change of dates I am able to offer do of course come as a first come, first served basis so do let me know as soon as you can if you are needing to change your date. I am feeling very positive about my little business, as worrying as this time is (and being a relatively new business I am not entitled to any of the government assistance) I have the most amazing, loyal customers, many of whom are already booking in for a few months time and I am sure the family photography side will be even more popular than usual- I can't wait to capture and document those special family connections again very soon! www.jodiedonovanphotography.com
